Over 20 Years in the biobased industry with over 260 biobased and biodegradable products!
Renewable Lubricants?, Inc. (RLI?) manufactures ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE lubricant products that are formulated from renewable agricultural plant and animal resources. Our full-line of proven biobased lubricants gives our customers enhanced vegetable lubricant performance from soy, corn, canola, sunflower and other bio-materials for BioPreferredSM purchasing.
Renewable Lubricants patented biobased technology transforms these oils into high performance green lubricants that can endure the harshest, hottest engines and the cruelest, coldest winters. Use of Renewable Lubricants biodegradable lubricant products eliminates the potential for hazardous leaks and spills while reducing our dependence on foreign oil.
We offer all this at a cost competitive, performance advantage to petroleum-based products, and substantially lower cost than biodegradable synthetic alternatives. We believe Earth's environmental future rests in the use of renewable materials.
Biobased and BioPreferredSM are the new buzz words in the US Government and economic security is the main driving force to provide sustainable green products to meet BioPreferredSM Procurement.

US. EPA 2013VGP Vessel General Permit Compliance Declaration for RLI Products
In December 2013 the US Environment Protection Agency’s (EPA) Vessel General Permit (VGP) came into effect. The revised legislation introduces new environmental regulations for vessels operating in US coastal waters and Great Lakes. The legislation states that environmentally acceptable lubricants (EAL) must be used in all oil-to-sea interfaces on vessels. Renewable Lubricants has developed a full product line to meet these new requirements set by the EPA as Enviornmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs).
